When Peter asked how many times he had to forgive, Jesus ended the counting: seventy times seven. 490 isn't a number. It's a way of life with the God who keeps no record of wrongs.

Without ever deciding to, we keep a record of every wrong done to us, and we cannot put it down. Jesus answered Peter's math with a number too big to track on purpose. Not a higher limit. The end of limits.
