Coaching & mentoring · For men

For men who are done keeping score.

Biblical coaching is not therapy and not a pep talk. It is one older man opening Scripture with another, asking hard questions, and staying in the room until something changes. I've been forgiven of a great deal. That is the only credential that matters here.

Who this is for

Men carrying something they can't put down.

  • You're rebuilding after a divorce, a job loss, a failure, or a season you're not proud of.
  • You've drifted from God and you're not sure how to walk back in.
  • You're forgiven, and you know it, and you still can't forgive someone else.
  • You want a man further down the road to tell you the truth and pray with you.
  • You're in your thirties, forties, or fifties and nobody has ever discipled you.

What this is not

Not counseling, not therapy, and not a substitute for either. If you're in crisis, talk to your pastor or a licensed counselor first, and I'll gladly walk alongside that. Not a program with a workbook and a certificate. Not a sales funnel. It's Scripture, prayer, and a man who will keep showing up.

How it works

Three parts, no fluff.

We meet one-to-one, by video or in person around Scottsdale. Weekly to start, then as often as the work needs.

1

A first conversation

Forty-five minutes. Where you are, what you're carrying, whether this is a fit. If it isn't, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.

2

Scripture, weekly

A passage, a question, an honest hour. Forgiveness, identity, work, marriage, fathering, starting over. We read what God actually said, and we let it read us.

3

Walk it out

Between sessions you do the thing you said you'd do. Make the call. Have the conversation. Put the ledger down. I check. That's the mentoring part.

What we open

The ground we cover.

Forgiveness

Seventy times seven, Matthew 18. The debt you were forgiven, the debts you're still collecting, and how to close the books.

The mind

Repent, take every thought captive, be transformed. Romans 12 and 2 Corinthians 10 as a daily practice, not a slogan.

Identity

Who you are when the title, the marriage, or the money is gone. Sonship before performance.

Work and money

Thirty years in sales and technology. Integrity under quota, generosity under pressure, ambition that doesn't own you.

Fathering

Leading children through a divorce, a distance, or your own failures. Repair is possible. I've done it.

Prayer

Mark 11. Remember, trust, believe, ask, forgive. Prayer that moves because it's honest.
